Time tweeted, “Amal Clooney shows off her baby bump at the United Nations” with a link to the accompanying article with the same title, and it did not sit well with those who view Time as a serious news source.

Many netizens responded with outrage and anger, with one tweeting, “@Time That’s all you guys have to say about an intelligent woman speaking out on atrocities in the world?”

Another wrote, “@TIME seriously? She was at UN giving speech about genocide not ‘showing off her baby bump’. Get your s*** together”

Some pointed out that the focus on the ‘baby bump’ was more worthy of a tabloid instead of a serious news magazine like Time.

Other on Twitter also slammed Time, tweeting:

After the tweet went viral, a spokesman for the Time magazine told Mashable that the title for the article has been changed to “Amal Clooney Addresses United Nations on ISIS.”
