Abrams is already talking about who will win an award next year?

The Star Wars: The Force Awakens director fells that Mark Hamill should get an Oscar for his role in the upcoming Star Wars film, The Last Jedi.

Abrams was quoted by The New York Daily News as saying: “I think we are all going to be very upset if he does not win an Oscar, and no one more upset than Mark.”

Fans are certainly looking forward to seeing Luke Skywalker get more time since Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and we’ll get our first glimpse of that sometime midyear with the official release of the trailer.

Directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be Episode VIII and the second of the sequel trilogy, after The Force Awakens. It is set for release on December 15.
