LONDON, March 16 — Trust JK Rowling to engage in a little good-natured banter with her fans.
The bestselling author announced the title of her latest Cormoran Strike novel yesterday, but not before sharing a few laughs with the twitterverse.
It all began when Rowling, who has published the last three instalments of the detective series under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith, gave her followers on Twitter just two letters of the new book’s title (“_ _ _ H _ _ _ H _ _ _”), asking them to try and guess the rest.
Naturally, hilarious results ensued.
One suggested “Lethal chili”, while another joked: “I can’t wait for SEAHOG PHONY.”
Steady, now. https://t.co/2nWpsU0Ve2— J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) March 14, 2017

Even her editor got in on the fun.

After a fan managed to guess ‘Lethal White’ correctly, Rowling retweeted the suggestion with a surprise for the lucky individual: “Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner… DM me your address and I’ll make sure you get a signed copy when I finally finish it!”
