Najib visits Prophet Muhammad’s Dome in Medina

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 10 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today tweeted about his visit to the tomb of Prophet Muhammad in Medina, Saudi Arabia yesterday.
According to Najib, only visitors allowed by the Saudi government may enter the Green Dome, which also houses the tombs of the Muslim Caliphs.
“Praise the God, yesterday my family and I visited Raudhah and the tomb of Prophet Muhammad after Isya prayer at Nabawi mosque.
“King Salman Abdulaziz Al Saud gave permission to me and my family, including my mother to enter the prophet’s tomb,” he tweeted.
Najib is on a five-day work trip to Saudi. He will return on Friday.
