Body of girl swept away by waterfall current in Langkawi found

LANGKAWI, Oct 13 ― The final body of girls who drowned after being swept away by strong currents in Lubuk Semilang waterfall here yesterday was found by the search and rescue team near Surau Bukit Kemboja, about 7km from the waterfall, today.
Kedah Fire and rescue Department public relations officer Mohamad Mustakim Mukhtar said the body of five-year-old Siti Aisyah Kassim was found at 4.26pm.
Four girls, who went to the waterfall with their respective family members, were bathing when they were suddenly swept away by strong currents at 4.30pm yesterday.
The body of first victim, Qistina Puteri Wira, 12, was found at 6pm the same day.
The body of second victim, Nur Iman Waheeda Mohd Basri, 11, was found at 12.40am today, while the body of third victim, Anis Satirah Saad, 12, was found at 11.45am near Kampung Tanjung Ulu Melaka, about 5km from where she was reported missing. ― Bernama
