LOS ANGELES, July 9 — Chicago’s famous deep dish pizza is unlike other pizzas due to its thick, pie-like crust and unique layering of toppings.
The pizza, baked in a specialised, round pan resembling the type used for baking a cake, resembles a pie and has a high edge and deep surface for a large amounts of cheese and chunky tomato sauce.
